Writing On Health, Nature, and Human Nature 

My writing blends the scientific with the creative. In my nonfiction, I combine observation of people and the natural world with out-of-the-box thinking and imaginative writing. On the flip side, my creative writing incorporates everything from the latest research on breast cancer to an understanding of California newt migration.

I write in many forms:

• Magazine articles on everything from reversing heart disease to organic fertilizer, from search and rescue to housekeeping. (Click here for links to more articles.)

• Web copy that captures the essence of a person or a business.
• Award-winning poetry about nature, fertility, and relationships. (OK, I confess, it was just one award, from the Denver Woman's Press Club!)
